PROHIBITION OF THE PRELATE.
LONDON, Aug. 9. In Lhe House of Commons, _ replying to Major Barnes, Mr Bonar Law said that the prohibition of Archbishop Mannix's landing in Ireland was ordered by the competent military authority, acting under the Defence of the ltealm Act Regulations.
