ALLEGED MURDER.
DUNjEDIN, Aug. 5. The circumstances concerning the death of Olive May Pile, aged twenty years', •'■ who was found dead in a liouse in South Dunedin, occupied by Helen Glegg, an elderly woman, were" further inquired into in the Supreme Court,, when Glegg; was charged with murdering the., igirl in question through the performance of an illegal operation. ' i / The.-jury returned after 50 minutes' absence with a verdict of not guilty. The same accused was charged that, with intent to*, procure the miscarriage of Rose Williams, she un-. lawfully used an instrument or other means. The case was only partially heard when the Ctyurt rose for the day. ,
