WELLINGTON, July 16. Sir George Clifford Ava.s re-elected pvesident of the Racing Conference. The members paid a high tvibuto to Sir George Clifford's work. Replying, Sir George said that he believed that in comparison'" with other countries the status of the turf in NeAV Zealand was unequalled in any part of tho world.
