BLENHEIM'S SUNSHINE
Blenheim had less sunshine during the first five months of the present year than it enjoyed throughout the -corresponding period of last year, but an allowance, no doubt, that compared more thnn favorably with the records of other places in New Zealand. The figures taken from the municipal sunshine recorder this year are as follows, with the records for the previous yenr in parentheses:
January, total of 198.59 hours, daily average 6.11 (218.34): Febru«ry, 186.11 hours, 6.42 P91.ll); March, 206.52 hours, 6.61 (256.57); April, 122.96 hours, ,4.11 (157.10): May, 175.94 hours, 5.67 (221.96).
