CO-OPERATION

AN ALL-AUSTRALIAN SCHEME

EXPLOITATION TO BE CUT OUT

An inter-State Congress of coiir sunters and co-operative societies is bitting with the object of organising tvnd developing the co-operative system throughout the Commonwealth with a view to cutting out excessive and' unregulated competition and waste'in production and' distribution, and securing the highest standard of efficiency ,by co-operative- purchase and disposal. It will thus secure profit-sharing between master and workman, and cut' out any attempt to exploit the . public. The conference decided to form a co-operative union embracing the whale Commonwealth, and to proceed with propaganda work.

The conference appointed a committee to draw up a constitution.
