Mr. Justice Hosking -will preside over the sessions of the Supreme Court which commence at Blenheim next Tuesday.

Mrs F. Oalloway has disposed oi her interest in the Commercial Hottel at "Hayelqck to Mrs; ' Kelly, of Hastings. She will shortly leave on a visit, to her sister at New Plymouth.

Mr John Collins, formerly chief clerk to the Labor Department and lately secretary, to the Board or Trade, has been appointed secretary of the new Department of Industries and'' Commerce, created under the Board.of Trade Act.
