GRAVE DISASTER FEARED

Forty deaths 'occurred at Aquila and several hundred were injured. Ten dead and 150 injured hay© already "been taken from the nnhs of Isoladelliri. Many houses collapsed at Sora. Twenty dead were found at Villaaco. Many victims are believed to be buried in the debris of the townships of Popoli and Pentima. The inhabitants of Tivoli are camping in the open air. An. official report states that the earthquake was most disastrous in a district with a radius of one hundred miles, whose centre probably is! the province of Potenza. Communication with Potenza has been severed, and it is feared that grave disaster has oc-, curred there. •
