HIGH COMMISSIONER'S ADVICES.
STRUGGLE FOR A SPUR,
THE BEAUSEJOUR REDOUBT
LONDON, Jan. 13 (6.30 p.m.) Paris reports that persistent bad weather lias interfered with the operations along the entire front. The struggle is still proceeding on spur 132, north-west of Soissons, the Allies maintaining the top and the west slope and giving ground in the east.
Between Soissons and Berry-au-Bao the All' -s' artillery caused explosions at various i^oints among the German batteries.
The salient in the redoubt north of the Beausejonr and Souain region remains in French hands. A trench has bt?en' established sixty metres from the Germans.
