HOCKEY
The Nelson representative hockey team was defeated by Wairarapa, the holders of the Nordon Cup, on Thursday by 2 goals to 1. There is every probability of Marlborough's issuing: a. challenge for the Cup. High School A. and High School B. met in the ladies' competition on Saturday, the former team being victorious by 2 goals to nil. Mr Frank Ferry, refereed.
