BLENHEIM STOCK SALE
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their monthly stock sale as follows :— We submitted a good entry of sheep and a number of cattle in the Cooperative yards on Wednesday last, and are pleased to report having made a total clearance. There was a large yarding of fat sheep, which came forward in very good condition and met with a good demand. We quote tho following prices:—Heavy fat wethers 19s 3d to 20s 6d, medium fat wethers 16s 6d to 18s ; medium fat ewes 13s 104 to IBs Id, light fat ewes 13s 4d, store wethers 14s, 6 and Btooth ewes in lamb 13s lid, s.m. ewes in lamb 11s 3d, • aged ewes in lamb 3s 6d to 5s Id, ewe1 hoggets 9s sd, cows with calves £5 2s 6d, cows in calf £4 7s 6d, Jersey heifer £5 7s 6d, calves £2 to £2 6s.
