A GAOL-BREAKER

SECOND ATTEMPT TO ESCAPE,

CAPTURED IN AN HOTEL.

[Pkess Association.] WELLINGTON, June 19. Patrick Donovan, who escaped from the Terrace Gaol in May last, and was recaptured, broke gaol again yesterday. He was recaptured in an hotel bar after four hours' liberty drinking a pint of beer and puffing a large cigar. Donovan had secured a suit of civilian clothes. When arresting the man the sergeant said: "Come on, Donovan." He replied: "All right; wait till I drink my beer."
