BETTER CONDITIONS IN THE HOME LIFE.
LONDON, June 16. The Express says that married women all over the country are being urged to join the Home-makers' Union, started at Croydon for the purpose of assisting husbands to obtain better wages, for securing a. fair shiare of the husband's earnings, and for protesting aaainst the bad conditions of home life, however caused. The union relies largely on its final weapon—dov/n with pots and pans.
