Thre© thousand farm laborers- in West Lancashire have given notice to strike, failing to obtain a minimum ■weekly wage of 245. s The Forest Dean colliers have forwarded to the Masters' Association notice to terminate the wages agreement, with a view to arranging a separate scale of pay for steam and house coal. The boilermakers ballot on the -question of an eight hours' day resuited: For 5287, against 578.
