A recent issue of the Gazette notifies the following appointments: Mr G. W. Cook, deputy registrar of births, deaths and marriages for Wairau; Mr ' Henry Jellyman, member of the Wairau Licensing Committee, vice Mr E. F. Healy, resigned; Mr Joseph Dawson, who constructed the two f erfo-concrete suspension bridges.^,,f^n the Upton Downs district, a member of the Wellington Land Board.
