j [Tress Association.] LONDON, June 12. The Marconi Committee's interim i report lias been laid on the table of ! the House, and copies will be dis- • tributed to-morrow, with draft reports jby Sdr Albert Spicer, Lord Hugh j Cecil, and Messrs Falconer find Booth. !It is understood that Sir Albert ' Spicor described Ministers' conduct as | indiscreet, but not corrupt, but the i influence of th© Falconer-Booth sec- ' tion caused an amended report to be • carried by eight to six votes, which exculpates Ministers and says that the chairges of undue influence aro baseless, and that the contract was made in sole regard of the public interest. Lord Robert Cecil's report, in behalf
of the minority, is very censorious. The report will be debated on Wednesday. The case of Fenner, the stockbroker whose name figured so prominently in the Marconi share transactions, came up before the bankruptcy court, and was adjourned) pending the issue of a warrant for his arrest. His liabilities; total £120,000, including Viscount Elibank's £30,000.
