SYDNEY, June 13. The Wharf Laborers' Union adopted the constitution of the new Transport Workers' Federation, which is intended to embrace the Merchant Service Guild of Australasia, the Australasian Institute of Marine Engineers, the Federated Seamen's Union, the Australasian Federated Carters' and Drivers', and1 the Federated Waterside Workers' Union. The Seamen's Union has already adopted the constitution, and the Engineers' Institute favors federation, but not in its present form. The Carters' and Drivers' Union has yet to deal with the question.
