ILL-FEELING IN THE BLACK COUNTRY.

LONDON, June 12. Forty thousand men are on strike in Birmingham. In the Black Country ill-feeling is

increasing, owing to reports that the* employers are organising a federation to defeat the men.

Three thousand strikers seized a waggon containing rations for thei police who are guarding non-strikers at the Talbot Steel Tube Works, and distributed the bread and cheese to the women folk. They drank tha beer, and afterwards stoned the works.
