WELLINGTON, May 18. Tlie Union Company's Haupiri, which left Wellington last night for Picton and the East Coast, struck Barrett's Reef. As she was making water Captain Morrison ran her into Evans' Bay and beached her at 2 a.m. close to the Union Company's new wharf. She has a list to port, and has water in her two holds. It was thick weather when she struck.-
