BEFORE THE ARBITRATION COURT. EMPLOYERS' APPLICATION REFUSED. AUcIkLAND, May 15. Mr Justice Sim gave his decision in the dispute betw-een Nearing and Co. and ; the Waterside' Workers' Union. The ajypKcation for an award made by the "employers was dismissed. The Union had given 'notice of cancellation of its registration __ under the -Arbitration Act, and notice of the Registrar's intention to cancel registration was gazetted on February Bth. Six weeks was referred to in the notice of March 21st; .Meantime, the Union had applied for cancellation, andt his Honorheld;, that the Union should be treated I as ..if it 'had ceased to exist for the purpose of making awards. One objection' to granting ■the present application was; that the employers objecting represented 90 per cent..of the labor affected by the dispute. ■ • "•'■;'■ . ;
