METHODIST CLUB.

The annual general meeting of tho Blenheim Methodist Tennis Club . was held last evening, fihere being a. good attendance of members.

> The report and balance-sheet submitted by tho committee wero adopted, pleasure being expressed at "the sound condition of the club and "the successes achieved during the past «eason.

The election of officers resulted es follows:—President, ; Rev. T. R. •Richards; viee-presidphts, Messrs T. Pike, T. S. Davies, W. D. Pike, Mrs W. J. Martin, iand Miss Girling; ; secretary and treasurer, Mr S. .J. 'Mogridge; assistant secretary, Miss Penney; auditor. Mr F. Mogridge; captain, Mr F. Piarker; vice-captaia, Mr J. Hale; committee, Messrs Harvey, Hadfield. Southgate, • Spence, Mrs, •Pike, and Misses Mogridge and Wat-1 terson.

Fourteen new members were elect,«d, and the date of opening was left to the committee,' with a recommendation that it be the 7th October. ! It was decided to join the Association, provided that some guarantee that more would! be done for the bene- , fit of the individual clubs <;ould be obtained.
