CONCERT AT SEDDON.

A corr<ss{k>ndent writes: —Tho Seddon Presbyterian Church held their annual concert on Thursday evening last before a. 'rather small but appreciative audience. Owing to the function being held so late in the season, and to there 'being so milch sickness in the distinct, many wore prevented from attending. The programme was. an excellent one, and wias very much appreciated. The first part opened with a quartette very nicely vendorgd, by Messrs Robinson, Grray, Litchfieldj and Charlton, who received <d well-deserved encore. A song, "HusKeen," by Miss Penney, earned for that young ledy a> hearty recall. She responded with "When Roses Wake." Mr Bull, a great favorite at Seddon, sarg "Trooper Johnny Ludlaw," in his usual taking manner. Mr Gordon Litchfield followed with "Tho Last Watch," which was well received. The next item was » duet pleasingly rendered by the Misses Ball, who were heartily encored. Miss Healy delighted her audience with a violin solo. Mr Bull's whistling solo, as usual, "brought down the he use." Miss Urquhart, one of Soddon's great; favorites, followed with "Jock o' i Hazeldlene, and receiving a hearty/ encore, replied with 'Comin* thro' the Rye." Mr Gr,ay. who made his first bow to a Seddon audience, sang "Tho Old Plaid Shawl" in such a pleasing manner that he had to return and favor with- another song. Mr F. Robinson followed with "Tho .Storm King," which was well received1. Miss McCabo played the accompaniments in her usual skilful munner. An «xcellont coffco supper was provided by the ladies of the church. Votes of thanks were given, son the motion of the Rev. W. Robb, to all who had1 assisted, and the singing of tho National Airthem brought to a close an excellent evening's entertainment.
