THE CONFERENCE IN SESSION
[press association.] (Received March 21, 9.25 a.m.) MELBOURNE, March 21. The Rechabite Conference resolved, in order to promote full fraternal unity, to establish a Rechabite Federal Council or movable conferonce for Australasia and New Zealand if desirable, and also recommended the consolidation of the sick funds, and decided, in view of the arrival of large numbers of British Rechabite immigrants, to endeavour to secure the necessary alteration in the laws to provide for the clearance of oversea immigrants in Australia and New Zealand.
