JEWEL BURGLARS.

OVER £1000 WORTH TAKEN

AUCKLAND, March 20. The premises <if Adolph Kolhn, jeweller, Queen Street, were burglariously entered between 9.30 on' Sunday night and this morning, and robbed of jewellery valued at £1000. Entrance was effected through an unprotected window at the side pf the shop, abbve the roof of the adjoining premises. The shop and front window were lighted as usual, the window being completely exposed to the view of anyone passing, yet the* contents of the window were completely cleared. The show case on the counter was emptied, and the floor strewn with empty jewellery cases and trays. A very careful selection had been made, and nothing of a bulky nature was taken. .
