LONDON WOOL SALES

The-New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., are in receipt of the following cable advice from their London office dated yesterday:— ■ , There was a full attendance at the opening of the sales to-day, competition by Home and Continental buyers being active. The market is firm for all sorts. The opening catalogues were fairly' representative. ~ Dalgety and Company, Limited, h:ive received cabled advice from their London office, dated 14th iust., that the wool sales have opened. The' attendance of buyers is large, and competition animated. Selection is good, and there is no change to report in merinos, fine, medium, and coarse crossbreds.
