The local wheat market is very quiet, as growers are holding out for more money than buyers are inclined to give. Consequently but few sales are taking place. Millers are offering 2s lOd to 3s, at country stations, while exporters are only offering 2s lid, though 3s has been paid at handy stations. Some Australian wheat and flour has been coming lately into Auckland by the Craig line of sailing vessels
