CHARGED WITH FORGING AND
UTTERING

AUCKLAND, March 9,
A young man, named Albert L. Gibbs, alias Gordon Palmer, pleaded guilty in the Police Court yesterday to a charge of obtaining £20 from George Fowlds, Ltd.,. by mean® of a valueless cheque; also to similar charges of a total of £33, and forging the name of Mr A. M. Myers, M.P., to a cheque for £7.
The accused had represented himself to be the Hon. Evelyn W. Kitson, second son of Lord Airdale. He was also charged with attempted suicide. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
