CIVIL WAR IN MANCHURIA
What is practically a state of civil war is stated to be now prevailing in Manchuria. There arc thousands of unemployed, most of whom have turned bandits, and are looting the villages. Chinese troops that were despatched to suppress the Avholcsalo plundering have had numerous engagements with the lawless army, but have been " repeatedly defeated.
