PALMERSTON N., Nov. 4. The first award of the special prize of £100 presented by Mr E. Short for the best ilomney ram, New Zealandbred, decided at the Manawatu Show to-day, was taken by W. Gibson (Feilding), who scored 85 points out of a possible 100. A. and J. Gray (Masterton) _ were second, and H. G. Hadfield third. The winner takes £50.
