DUNEDIN HOSPITAL.

DUNEDIN, Nov. 4. Miss Fraser, matron of the Dune- | din Hospital, has sent in her resignation to the Chairman of the Hospital ; and Charitable Aid Board, and has ; asked to be relieved of her duties ;at once. The cook at the hospital has also resigned, and asked to be relieved of her duties at the end of the month. It is understood that both resigna- • tions are due to the publication of ,an article in the Otago Daily Times i concerning complaints by the nurses ; regarding the food and work. ; ' At the meeting of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board last night Miss Fraser asked for an investigaytion regarding the allegations m;i.de. A special meeting of the Board will 'be held to-morrow to consider the position.
