A Recip« -we can recommend —make them Take two cupfuls of sugar, half a -cupful of butter, one cupfisl of sweet , milk, the white of four eggs, two teaspoonfuls of baking powder, $wo cupfuls of flour, and ona teaspoonful of vanilla. Cream tho butter and sugar and add the milk. Sift the flour and taking powder together and add half of it. Mix the eggs, well beaten, wdth the rest, and add the remainder oi the flour and the vanilla. Bak« in a square pan. When cool cut in squares and cover with a chocolate icing, over which sprinkle eocoanut, For^the icing take a cupful arid a half of su^ar, with three tablespoonfuls of cream, and a third of a cake of chocolate. Boil until it rope when poured from a spoon. Pour tins over the beaten whites of two eggs Beat until it thickens, and spread over tho loaf. Serve with Crescent Blend Tea (2s per lb).- Tins tea has an exquisite flavor, and pleases the palate. It is the favorite tea with most ladies, and as it brews a rich, strong liquor ii> goes much further than other teas, and i« therefore economical for family use.
