INVEBCARGILL, June 2. <In the Supreme Court to-day, John .Archibald Mackay, clerk in the New Zealand Loan Company's Bluff office, was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment for. forging a name on the wages book to defraud the company. ' James Wilson, builder, was sentenced to one month for failing to keep proper books of account, to be treated as a first-class misdemeanant^ »-•' PALMERSTON N., June 4. «> ■In the Divorce Court to-day a de-; cree nisi was granted in the * case Ducker v. Ducker, wife's petition, for -desertion.
