ATTACK ON FRENCH FORCE,
[press association.] (Received June 4 9.25 a.m.)' • PARIS^ June 3. Advices from Upper Senegal state 'that 500 Arabs attacked a detachment of tirailleurs near Ngugni. After desperate fighting the assailants were repulsed, losing 100 killed and 37 wounded. Tn» French, loss was •9 killed and 19 wounded.
