SEDDON STOCK SALE.

Dalgety and Company, Limited, report holding their fortnightly stock sale at the Seddon Co-operative yards yesterday. There was a very large yarding of 'all classes of sheep, but lines were not so well competed for as at the previous sale, ilie company's entry consisted of 3500 sheep, 23 cattle, draught mare, and 30 rams. Prices ruled as follows: Fat «wes 8s 4d, merino ewes 2s lid to 3s, fat wethers 12s, S.M. ewes 8s Ba, fullmouth 6s to Bs, threequarter-bred wethers, 4 and 6-tooth 10s lid, halfbred do. 10s lOd, 4-year old halfbred ewes 10s 3d, 6-tooth halfbred ewes 13s Sd, 2-tooth do. 12s. Shorn lambs 6s 3d, lambs in wool 8s 3d to 9s lOd, ewe lambs 9s lOd. Four-year-old steers and heifers £3 to £4. Yearlings £1 to 345. Calves 17s. Aged rams \ guinea. English Leicester 1-shear % guinea. Draught mare £5.
