KIWI HOCKEY CLUB

The Kiwi Hdekey Club held their annual meeting last evening at Mr J. Denning's rooms, when the following officers were elected: President, Mr James Penning (re-elected);; VicePresidents, Messrs H. L. Jackson, F. Paine, G. McKay, J. J. Ward, D. A. Sturrock, E. H. Penny, and S. E. Hulbert; club captain, Mr N. Fisk (re-elected); vicercaptain, Mr E. Paine; secretary and treasurer, Mr N. Paton (re-elected); committee, Messrs W. Jackson, 0. Freeth. D. Robertson, G. Harding, and R. Hawaii; selection committee, Messrs N. Fisk, E. Paine and D. Robertson; association delegate^ Mr N. Paton (reelected).

It was decided to open the season with a friendly match against the (Civil Service Club.

i After the above business had teen arranged, Mr Fisk, in a few well- ! chosen remarks, presented Mr Benjning with a beautifully framed and ■mounted enlargement photo of the Kiwi team which, won the Benning Association Cup last year. Mr Ben- | ning suitably responded, and also presented Mr D. Rohertson with, a hockey stick which, he had promised to give to the best forward for the season.
