WELLINGTON, Sept. 15. Two Chinese were charged at the Magistrate's Court to-day with selling pak-a-poo tickets.

Mr Herdman, their counsel, asked that they should be treated similarly to "two uppers" by the imposition of a small fine.

Mr Eiddell, S.M., fined each accused i£2s, in default one month.

Both men had been previously convicted.
