Fprebs association.] CHRISTCHURCH, June 11. The Christchurch Licensing Comivittee granted eleven transfers and 44 renewals, while two renewals were held over. Eleven wholesale licenses -were granted. , ' The Selwyn Committee granted two temporary transfers and 12 renewals. Application was made for a license for an hotel at Mount Somers, but was refused. Mount Somers had been a portion of the Ashburton electorate during no-license there, but m the last readjustment ...j^as included in Selwyn. The Coiamitfee felt that it had no power to increase the number of licenses in Selwyn,,-*
