PARENTS CAUGHT AT FIJI. [PBESS ASSOCIATION.] » AUCKLAND, May 18. Last week an infant was found •abandoned at Newmarket. The investigation of the case was entrusted to Detective McMahon, and as a result of his inquiries Mr and Mrs Houmiston, passengers from Auckland by the Maitai, have been stopped at Suva, and fit. the instance of the Charitable Aid Board are to be returned to Auckland on a charge of "having abandoned their child.
