SEAMEN'S DEMANDS. .SYDNEY, May 17. A conference between the coastal steamship owners and the Seamen s Union is progressing. The questions involved include the demand for increased overtime pay and preference to unionists. It is understood that there are good prospects of an amicable arrangement being arrived at.
