[PKOai OTTB, COBKESPONDENI.] '- Monday. The annual meeting of the Tui: Hockey Club was held at Mrs Cheesman's "one day last week, when business was attended to in a satisfactory manner. There-was a fair attendance of old members, and judging by the enthusiasm the following year should ■ prove a most successful one.. The bal-ance-sheet was read and adopted, and showed that the club was progressing in a favorable manner. The following officers were elected: —Captain, F. Gleeson (re-elected); secretary, M. Brydon (re-elected); president, Mr Cheesman (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs C.; de Vere TeschemakerShute, Cqok (re-elected) Pollard; selection committee;, F. Gleeson, M. Brydon, F. Haines, X- Eves; honorary members, Mr and Mrs" Taylor, Mr and Mrs Perrett, Messrs Jordon, C. ! Goulter, X: Goultery G. Bary senr., j; Bary, Hufiton, Mitchell, Hart, McNeil, H. Spear, McKay, R. Wa,tsori, ! Mesqames Williams and Shaw, Miss Cook. , A vote of thanks w,as passed to the officers and honorary members, and they were asked to continue their j Satronage for the ensuing season; and j [r Cook was thanked for the use of the school grounds, for the past and also for the following year. It was resolved to play;, ; a returns,match against the Takorekas (Havelock) at some early date, and it was also thought advisable to change the colors, from navy to green, owing to other clubs having the same color. It was decided to open the season with a friendly game on May 19th.
