PROTEST FROM IRISH PUBLIC
BODIES
(Received May 14, 0.50 a.m.) LONDON, May 13. The Archbishop of Canterbury, speaking at the festival of the sons of the clergy, stated that if the Budget ■became law £50,000 annually would 'be lost to the ecclesiastical com<missioHers' funds for the benefit of the poorer clergy. . The Lord Mayor of Dublin presided over a meeting of various public -of Ireland. Resolutions were carried protesting against the Budget, akd appealing to the" "All for Ireland" committee to coiribat the proposed taxation.
