Among Ward's Comedy Company, which is shortly to arrive from Singapore, is an Indian princess, who fled from home because of a political intrigue in which her family were concerned. She was engaged as ayah with Miss Grace Palotta, and was afterwards given a small part to play. Spies followed the princess from India to China, and after several unsuccessful attempts succeeded in kidnapping her at Hong Kong; but she was recovered, and will sail with the company for Australia.
