PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS.
An owner is wanted for a fur muff. A staid person is wanted for household duties. The annual meeting of the Kiwi Hockey Club will be held to-morrow evening. A very fine upright, iron, grand piano is on offer at Holcroft and Go's furnishing establishment. The Marlborough Golf Club will open tho season on Saturday next, and a drag will leave the Square at 2 p.m. The quarterly meeting of the local Chamber of Commerce will take place on Friday evening next, at Borough Council Chambers. ° Holcroft and Co. make a specialty of picture framing. The latest designs in mouldings, and unframed pictures are stocked. George and Kersley, of Wellington, nave opened show rooms in Charles Street, and are now displaying a very fin© selection of ladies' wear—costumes, coats, blouses, millinery, etc. All goods are marked at Wellington prices, and inspection is invited.
