IN PRAISE OF OREGON PINE
. [press association.] AUCKLAND, May 11. At the Timber Commission to-day, G. V. Roberts, architect, with experience in California and New Zealand, said that he had used Oregon pine continuously. He was astonished at its durability. It- was the best timber in th 6 world for bearing purposes. The best Oregon did not come here, but there was very good quality on this market.
