CHARGE OF BIGAMY.
ACCUSED REMANDED

NAPIER, May 11. James A. Crooks was remaaided on a chaa-ge of bigamy to appear at Daiinevarke on the 19 th.
It is alleged that the, accused was first niairiried at Norsewood, where he deserted his wife some eight oar nine years'ago. Inquiries were cornitinually instituted for him, and he was a* length, located at Waimangaroa, near Grainity, West Coast, where he was found to be living with a second wife, whom, it is alleged, ih© niamried some fotrr oa* five yeans ago.
