WELLINGTON, May 3

The cruiser Challenger 'accomplished a unique wireless telegraphic feat in maintaining communication with the flagship Powerful, lying in Sydney Harbor, .throughout her passage to Wellington. Every day European cablegrams were flicked through by operators on the Powerful to the Challenger, and the news wais posted up on the latter vessel for the ship's company to pea-use. On Friday evening, at a distance of over elevein hundred miles from Sydney, messages were received without a break, and the latest developments in Turkey were read with much interest by all.. Even in Wellington the Challenger was able to got in touch with the Powerful, 1239 miles away.
