CRICKET.

ASSOCIATION MEETING

A meeting of tHe Marlborough Cricket Association was held on Saturday evening. There were present: The President (Mr T. W,.; Orr), Messrs J. A. Bottrell, C. J. King, A. Mills, J. H. Goulding, J. J. Ward, J. Haughey, A. B. Watson and the Secretary (Mr A. J. Fisher). Mr T. W. Orr wrote accepting the office of president, and Onamalutu, High SchQol, Marshlands, Koromiko, and Tua Marina clubs wrote forwarding lists of members for classification.

Dr. Adams was elected a vice-presi-dent to Onamalutu, Dr. Innes for High School, and Mr A. Greig to Koromiko.

The classification of members of the various clubs into senior and junior grades was then proceeded with and completed.

Junior Cup: It was resolved that entries for the Junior Cup close on 24th October, and that all subscriptions due by affiliated clubs be paid by 80th November. Onamalutu, Koromiko, Marshlands and Tua Marina clubs paid their subscriptions. The following Sub-Committee was appointed to revise the rules of tho Association and report to a meeting to be held four weeks hence : —The President and Messrs J. H. Goulding, J. A. Bottrell, J. J. Ward and the Secretary.
