THE CORONATION OATH.
"AN INSULT -TO THE KING."
(Received Sept. 11, 11.10 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 11
Before a large audience at thel Eucharistio Congress, Viscount Llandaff read a paper, and the Duke of Norfolk, in th© subsequent discussion, described the Royal declaration in' taking the Coronation Oath as an insult to the King and the good sense' of the nation, besides being si travesty on Catholic doctrine.
The announcement was made that" the Congress in 1909 would be held at Loui'des (France) and in 1910 at Montreal. . \
Cardinal Vannutelli, ' Archbishop Carr and the Duke of Norfolk were" amongst the speakers at a crowded meeting in the Albert Hall.
