DUNEDIN, Sept. 11. Tlirea' lads of _ sixteen and seventeen—Stark, Hicks and Brandon^—havo been experimenting for two years in wireless telegraphy, and after many failures have fitted up three stations round the harbour, from which messages at_ last have been successfully transmitted.

•Last evening a number of messages were flashed across these points and then sent to tho Prime Minister and Parliament. The . operations were supervised by fcwo of the telegraph staff, and watched by a number of citizens, all of whom speak highly of the work. The messages went at the rate of five or six words per mintite. An appreciative reply was received from Sir Joseph Ward.
