While the steamer Briez Izel, which lis en route to New Zealand, was filling her water-tank it overflowed, and a large quantity of water found, its way into No. 2 hold, doing much damage to New Zealand cargo. ! In the Assembly yesterday Mr Elmslie gave notice of a motion censuring the action of the Minister for Water I Supply in dealing with tenders for contracts in connection with the Water Supply Department.
