A very pleasing little ceremony took place at the Post Office last evening, the occasion being the presentation of a token of goodwill and esteem from the Post and Telegraph staffs to Mr E. H. Marriott, on the eve of Ms approaching marriage. The presentation, which* took the form of a silver teapot and inkstand, was made by Mr Stapp, in the absence of the Ghief Postmaster. The recipient appropriately thanked the staff for their expression of good-fellowship and token of regard.
